• In 2020 we donated funds to the Rotary Club of Grand Manan who spearheaded a Rotary International approved project in Ghana, Africa.
  • This was a joint project with the Diocese of Fredericton, Diocese in HO, HO teaching hospital and Rotary clubs of HO and Grand Manan.  Under the direction of Robbie Griffin, Rotary International approved a global grant of $113,000 US.
  • The mobile clinic will bring basic health care to roughly 2.5 million people in rural Ghana.
  • Covid-19 introduced delays, but the medical van is now expected to be delivered before the end of 2021.
  • This is a field-army style unit that will act as a laboratory, pharmacy and medical supply unit. Tents (stored on the roof) provide space for intake, examination of patients and minor surgeries. The clinic is powered by an onboard generator.
