Salvation Army Visits Rotary
On Monday, October 5th, 2020, guest speaker Captain Lance Gillard, introduced by Rotary President Angie Cummings, addressed the Sussex Rotary Club regarding the local Salvation Army

A church to some, a thrift store to others- the Salvation Army of Sussex wants to support the local community. There are many opportunities to help, especially given the current pandemic. Covid19 has created a more urgent need for volunteers and time commitments. Helping can take any form - even small efforts make a difference as the Salvation Army of Sussex is overwhelmed and understaffed. Lance offered to provide a tour to the Club of the facility and its operations and welcomed any willing to volunteer hours to help.

Special thanks were extended to Phil Sherwood and the local Sobeys team, as well as Blair Hyslop and the team from Mrs. Dunster's, for their overwhelming support in the past months.

If you are interested in helping in any way, please contact Lance at the Salvation Army of Sussex.
